A Not Too Funny Cartoon E-mail

  1. For over 18 years, Mr. John Kielbasa had an unblemished work record! John's Alleged Disciplinary Problems only began when the Department Of Education started a procedure where employees made written notifications for Asbestos Contamination in the Schools.
  2. To the chagrin of Supervisor Eric Wienbaum, John's complaints, now memorialized in writing can't be ignored.
  3. Mr. Wienbaum does what any master of subterfuge would do: He makes false allegations against the Whistle Blower and then apparently lies under oath.
(Footnote: Mr. Kielbasa elicited the services of the renowned retired NYPD homicide detective, Mickey "Night Watch" Doherty. Mickey, after a through investigation determines that Mr. Wienbaum's assertions under oath are not close to credible.)

This says it all, a man dedicated to Public Service.

"John's dedication along with his honest and forthright manner is synonymous with the Coast Guard's core values, CWO Mark Zimmermann, USCGR (ret.)"

John as a permanent employee has not only the liberty but the obligation to practice safety in the workplace. Unfortunately, the Dept. of Ed. exploits the provisional employees by virtue of their fear of retaliation if they should speak out for their personal safety.

This is the kind of place Christie Todd Whitman would fit right in as a supervisor!!!

Hold it right there Big Fella. Serving work memos on employees while they are answering the call of nature is just plain wrong. (Unless your Senator Larry Craig)

That is exactly what Board of Ed. Supervisor Phil Szot did to John and then charges were preferred for his (John's) refusal to sign said memo. WOW???

John reports that a valve packed with asbestos has been delivered to his work site. (By this time John has been taken out of the schools, without any reason given and assigned to a metal cage. Yes like an animal!!)

This fella is none other than the Asbestos Coordinator, Mr. George Palermo. Do you think he was telling John, "Your number 1 in my book." NAAAA! I sure hope this wasn't a message to the school children unknowingly exposed to loose friable asbestos. See attached story from "The Chief" for Mr. Palermo's explanation .
